These Terms apply to purchases and bookings made with Yoga Rise Blackpool in person, through our website or through Momence. By purchasing or booking, you agree to these Terms together with any product-specific information shown at checkout.
Nothing in these Terms removes or limits your statutory consumer rights.
1. About Yoga Rise and how to contact us
Yoga Rise Blackpool provides in-studio and online yoga classes, memberships, class passes, courses, workshops, events, private sessions and selected retail products.
Email: hello@yogariseblackpool.com | Telephone: +44 7366 430244
Studio: Back of 1A Red Bank Road, Bispham, Blackpool FY2 9HN
Website: yogariseblackpool.com | Booking platform: Momence
2. Purchases, prices and payment
Prices, inclusions, validity periods and payment schedules are shown on our pricing page and at checkout. Where product-specific information differs from these general Terms, the information clearly shown and accepted at checkout will apply, provided it does not reduce your statutory rights.
Passes and memberships are personal to the named customer and must not be shared, resold or transferred unless Yoga Rise agrees in writing. Gift cards may be given to another person before redemption.
Payments are processed through Momence or its payment provider. Please keep a valid payment method and your contact details up to date. If a scheduled payment fails, access may be temporarily suspended while payment is outstanding.
We are a cashless studio. If online booking or cashless payment creates a barrier for you, please contact us. We never want cost or the booking system to prevent someone from accessing yoga, and we will discuss available concessions or another practical way to book and pay.
3. Cooling-off, refunds and transfers
Your statutory rights always apply. In particular, certain purchases made online or by telephone may carry a 14-day cancellation right. If you ask us to begin providing a service during that period, you may be charged a reasonable amount for any service already supplied. Some fixed-date leisure activities may be exempt from the usual cancellation right.
Outside any statutory right and the specific cancellation terms below, class bookings, passes, memberships, workshops, courses, events and private sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable. Yoga Rise may offer a transfer or account credit in exceptional circumstances at its discretion.
Where Yoga Rise cancels a class, workshop, course, event or private session, we will return the relevant credit or offer an account credit or refund, as appropriate.
4. Momence accounts and health waiver
Each participant must have their own accurate Momence profile. Before taking part in any in-person or online class, workshop, course or event, participants must read and accept the Yoga Rise Health & Safety Waiver in Momence.
You are responsible for deciding whether a session is suitable for you, disclosing relevant injuries, health conditions or pregnancy to the teacher, following safety guidance and working within your own ability. Stop immediately if you feel pain, faintness or unusual discomfort and seek medical advice where appropriate.
We may reasonably refuse or stop participation where we believe it is unsafe, disruptive or unsuitable. This does not affect any refund rights you may have if Yoga Rise is unable to provide the booked service as agreed.
5. Pregnancy
If you are pregnant or recently postnatal, please consult your GP, midwife or other appropriate healthcare professional before practising and tell the teacher before class. Not every teacher or class is suitable for pregnancy or postnatal practice.
Where you are unsure, we recommend choosing a designated Pregnancy Yoga class from 15 weeks onwards or contacting us before booking so we can help you find an appropriate option. Medical advice always takes priority over studio guidance.
6. Current passes and introductory offer
30-Day Unlimited Intro Offer — £35
Available once to new Yoga Rise customers. It provides unlimited eligible studio classes for 30 consecutive days and starts on the date of purchase, unless a different activation date is clearly shown at checkout. It is not a recurring subscription and cannot be extended.
10-Class Pass — £150
Includes 10 eligible studio classes, including Aerial Yoga and Infrared Heated Yoga. It activates with the first booking and is valid for 12 weeks. It is not a recurring subscription.
Single Studio Class — £16
Includes one eligible studio class and is valid for the selected booking or the validity period shown at checkout. It is not a recurring subscription.
Private Yoga: four sessions — £160
Includes four personalised private sessions and is valid for two months from the first session, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Complimentary studio equipment is provided for eligible studio sessions. Special promotions and seasonal passes have the dates, eligibility and validity shown at purchase and do not extend beyond those dates unless Yoga Rise agrees otherwise or the law requires it.
7. Rolling monthly memberships
Rise Limited (£52 per month), Rise Unlimited (£72 per month) and Calm Collective Online (£29 per month) renew each month automatically until cancelled. The current price and full inclusions are confirmed at checkout.
Rise Limited includes four eligible classes per monthly membership cycle.
Rise Unlimited includes unlimited eligible studio classes and the member benefits described in section 10.
Calm Collective Online includes the live online classes and other online access described at checkout.
Monthly studio memberships activate with the first booking unless checkout states otherwise.
To prevent the next renewal, request cancellation at least seven days before the renewal date. Access continues until the end of the paid period unless we confirm otherwise.
A monthly membership may be paused for up to 30 days in each calendar year by giving at least seven days’ notice. Billing pauses and the renewal date moves by the approved number of days.
Cancellation or pause requests must be sent to hello@yogariseblackpool.com. Removing a card, cancelling a class or stopping attendance does not cancel a membership.
8. Rise Unlimited 12-Month Membership
The Rise Unlimited 12-Month Membership is a fixed 12-month commitment costing £780 in total, paid as 12 monthly instalments of £65. It includes the Unlimited benefits described at purchase.
The first payment is taken when the membership is purchased, and the remaining 11 payments are taken monthly. The membership ends after the agreed 12-month term and does not automatically renew unless you actively agree to a new membership.
You may request up to 90 days of pause time during the membership year by giving at least seven days’ notice. Approved pauses extend the membership end date by the same number of days. Scheduled instalments continue during the pause unless Yoga Rise confirms a different arrangement in writing.
Because this is a fixed-term commitment, it cannot normally be ended early. We will, however, consider reasonable requests arising from serious illness or injury, relocation, redundancy or another substantial and unforeseen change in circumstances. We may ask for appropriate evidence and will act reasonably. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
9. Membership use and fair access
Unlimited means you may attend as many eligible classes as you can reasonably book and attend during an active membership. Bookings remain subject to availability, class suitability, timetable changes and the cancellation policy.
Rise Limited classes must be used within the relevant monthly cycle unless Momence or the product description expressly allows rollover. Unused classes do not have a cash value.
We may suspend or end a membership for serious or repeated misuse, abusive behaviour, payment default or material breach of these Terms. Where practical, we will explain the issue and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve it first.
10. Unlimited member benefits
Rise Unlimited and the Rise Unlimited 12-Month Membership currently include:
Unlimited eligible studio classes, including Aerial Yoga and Infrared Heated Yoga.
20% off eligible Yoga Rise workshops.
One complimentary guest pass each month.
Free access to Calm Collective online classes.
Three complimentary members-only workshops each membership year.
10–20% off with selected local partners.
Exclusive offers and early booking opportunities through the members-only newsletter.
Benefits are personal, subject to availability and may have separate booking conditions or exclusions. Visiting-teacher events and externally delivered activities may be excluded. We may reasonably change partners, timetable content or non-core benefits, but we will give notice of material changes where practical.
11. Booking, waitlists and class minimum
We recommend booking in advance through Momence because spaces are limited. Classes may normally be booked up to three weeks ahead, subject to the booking window shown in Momence.
A valid payment option or eligible membership/pass is needed to join a waitlist. If a place becomes available and you are next in line, Momence may automatically add you and send an email or app notification at any time. Remove yourself from the waitlist if you are no longer able to attend.
Classes normally require at least two booked students. If fewer than two students are booked, Yoga Rise may cancel the class and will aim to notify booked customers by email and SMS at least three hours before the start time. Any class credit or eligible booking entitlement will be returned automatically; no late fee will apply.
Timetables, teachers and locations may occasionally change. Where the essential nature of the session remains the same, this will not normally entitle a customer to a refund, but statutory rights remain unaffected.
12. Class cancellations, late cancellations and no-shows
If you cannot attend, cancel through your Momence profile. We cannot reliably accept class cancellations by email, direct message or text.
Early cancellation
Cancel at least three hours before class. The booking is released, and the credit or membership entitlement is returned where applicable.
Late cancellation
Cancel less than three hours before class. A class-pack or drop-in credit is not returned. Recurring membership charges are described below.
No-show
If you do not attend and have not cancelled, a class-pack or drop-in credit is not returned. Recurring membership charges are described below.
Yoga Rise cancellation
The credit or membership entitlement is returned, and no late fee applies.
Recurring members receive one grace late cancellation or no-show per calendar month. Each additional late cancellation or no-show in the same month incurs a £5 fee, charged automatically to the payment card held in Momence. For Rise Limited, a late-cancelled or missed class may also count towards the four-class monthly allowance.
If Momence adds you from a waitlist inside the three-hour cancellation window and you genuinely cannot attend, contact us promptly. We will review any credit loss or fee reasonably.
13. Workshops, courses, clubs and events
Fixed-date workshops, courses, clubs, day retreats, sound meditation sessions and other events are non-refundable and non-transferable unless Yoga Rise cancels, these Terms state otherwise, or the law gives you a right to cancel or a remedy.
If you cannot attend, tell us as soon as possible. Where there is a waiting list, or we can fill your place, we may offer a transfer or account credit at our discretion.
Some events need a minimum number of participants. If Yoga Rise cancels because the minimum is not met, you will receive a suitable account credit or refund. We will not be responsible for indirect costs such as travel or accommodation unless the law requires otherwise.
14. Promotions, concessions and gift cards
Promotional offers are limited to the eligibility, dates and uses stated at purchase. Unless the law requires otherwise, discounted and promotional passes cannot be extended, and promotional codes cannot be combined.
The 30-Day Unlimited Intro Offer is for new customers and may be purchased once only. Creating or using multiple accounts to repeat a one-use offer is prohibited. We may revoke an improperly obtained discount, merge duplicate accounts and require payment of the reasonable price difference.
A 20% concession is available for students, people aged 65 or over, job seekers and disabled people on eligible class packs and the Yoga Foundations Course. Evidence of eligibility may be requested. The concession does not combine with other promotions unless stated.
Gift cards and monetary account credit expire 12 months after purchase or issue unless a different date is clearly stated or the law requires otherwise. Gift cards have no cash value and lost codes may be replaced only where ownership can be verified.
15. Online classes
For livestream and on-demand classes, create a clear, stable practice space and use suitable equipment. Follow the teacher’s instructions, choose appropriate modifications and stop if you feel pain, faintness or unusual discomfort.
You are responsible for your internet connection, device and viewing environment. We are not responsible for disruption caused by your equipment or connection. If a problem with Yoga Rise’s service materially prevents access, contact us and we will offer a reasonable replacement, credit or other remedy where appropriate.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
16. Retail purchases
For items bought in the studio, we do not normally offer a refund for a change of mind. This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.
Online retail purchases may carry additional distance-selling cancellation rights. Please contact us promptly and keep proof of purchase. Any voluntary exchange or account credit is at Yoga Rise’s discretion and is in addition to, not instead of, your statutory rights.
17. Arrival, access and conduct
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before class for check-in and to settle. There is no reception desk. Doors close when class begins and late entry may be refused to protect safety and avoid disruption. A missed class will be treated under section 12.
Treat teachers, staff, other customers and the premises with respect. Harassment, discrimination, threatening behaviour or unsafe conduct will not be tolerated and may lead to removal or account suspension.
18. Children aged 13–16
Young people aged 13–16 may attend selected group classes only. They must be registered under a parent or legal guardian’s account, and the parent or guardian must accept the relevant waiver before attendance.
Contact hello@yogariseblackpool.com before booking so we can confirm whether a class is suitable and whether an accompanying adult is required.
19. Personal belongings and lost property
Please keep valuables with you. Yoga Rise is not responsible for loss, theft or damage unless caused by our negligence or where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Items left behind will normally be kept for one month and may then be donated to charity or disposed of. Contact us promptly if you believe you have left something at the studio.
20. Personal data
We use personal data to manage accounts, bookings, payments, health and safety, communications and legal obligations. Please read our current Privacy Policy for details of how data is used, shared, retained and how to exercise your rights.
Accounts inactive for more than two years may be deleted or anonymised where we no longer need the information. We may retain certain records for longer where required for tax, accounting, safeguarding, insurance, dispute or other legal purposes.
21. Changes to services, prices and these Terms
The standard prices published on 2 August 2026 will remain fixed for six months. A promotional or seasonal price may still end on its advertised date, and this promise does not prevent us from correcting an obvious pricing error.
We may update our timetable, products, prices and these Terms. Changes will not alter a fixed price or commitment already agreed unless the contract allows it, the change is required by law, or you agree.
For material changes affecting a recurring membership, we will provide reasonable advance notice by email or through Momence and explain any available options. The latest Terms will be published on our website with the date of the update.
22. Liability and events outside our control
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and your statutory consumer rights.
Subject to the paragraph above, Yoga Rise is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, business losses, or delay or failure caused by events genuinely outside our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to minimise disruption and offer the remedies required by law.
23. Complaints, governing law and contact
If something has gone wrong, please contact hello@yogariseblackpool.com so we can try to resolve it fairly and promptly.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory protections and the right to bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable law.
